Free consultations are available for East Bay head and neck cancer patients when requested by a physician. Pretreatment conferences are conducted for newly diagnosed or recurrent cancer patients who, in the opinion of their physician, would benefit from a multi-disciplinary consultation. At each conference, a panel of specialists examines patients, reviews case histories, laboratory studies and x-rays, and then offers a unwritten detailed treatment recommendation to the patient’s physician.

Patients must be present for examination but will not attend the conference that follows. Examinations are conducted on the second and fourth Monday of each month from 5:00-6:00 pm Patients must be scheduled by the Wednesday preceding a conference.

The patient’s physician must attend the conference and present the case.
